Developing Filter Response Algorithm in Digital Signal Processing
(Finite and Infinite Filter Impulse Response)
In this, we have written program in C, which gives output of the
process of filtering on discrete type of input i.e. input in samples,
to give output also in discrete form. In DSP, we need digital filters
in almost every application, which is actually a process of retaining
some of the frequencies in the input and removing other undesired
frequency components. Here, we make use of the FFT i.e. Fast algorithm
for Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) in our program since the DFT
has a high computational complexity whereas the FFT has very less
number of calculations involved.
