Microcontroller Based Data Input/Output (DIO) Card.
DESCRIPTION:
Today
in many industries lot of electrical equipments are employed.
So, there is a need of monitoring and controlling all the
electrical equipments at remote places otherwise it may lead
to a trouble in industries. Using man power for monitoring
and controlling is not only tedious but also requires lot
of Human resources. The process is also very slow. Hence we
need a card which can do these things very fast and accurately
in order to cater these needs. We call this card as Data Input/Output
(DIO) Card. A DIO card is used to control and monitor various
electrical equipments in an industry. The status of various
electrical equipments is monitored using Personal Computer
(PC) and accordingly controlled through PIC. So status of
all the equipments is continuously monitored through a single
computer. Whenever there is need of controlling a device (i.e.
switch ON/OFF) using switch we sent control signal through
the card, which will handle it.
