Country wise FDI inflows
The
countrywise figures for 200-01 to January 2009 reveal Mauritius in the
leading position accounting for about 43.3 percent of total FDI inflows
into India. The US and UK is far behind it with 7.72 percent and 6.41
percent respectively. FDI from Mauritius during this period stood at $
35180 million. In terms of Rs it stood at Rs 1527677 million. FDI by US
and UK during this period stood at $ 6171 million and $ 5153 million.
In terms of Indian currency it comes to Rs 271491 million and Rs 225415
million respectively.
